This website is being maintained using accessible semantic structure, keyboard navigation, visible focus indicators, text alternatives, labelled form controls, reduced-motion support and colour-contrast considerations.
- Keyboard access: Navigation, controls and forms are designed to be usable without a mouse.
- Text alternatives: Meaningful images include descriptive alternative text; decorative graphics are not relied on to convey essential information.
- Forms: Form fields have visible labels and status messages are announced to assistive technology.
- Motion: The homepage carousel respects users who request reduced motion and provides pause controls.

Applicable requirements depend on jurisdiction.
The site is developed toward WCAG 2.2 Level AA, while Canadian web requirements commonly reference WCAG 2.1 Level AA through CAN/ASC EN 301 549:2024. The legal obligations that apply to KANATAS depend on its province, organization type, size and whether it is federally regulated.
